February Half Term | Wonderful Weaving
We’re celebrating the weaving history of Coventry with two weeks of colourful, woven craft activities.

Try your hand at circle weaving, making cardboard loom coasters, woven dream catchers, and so much more!
Daily activities:
Saturday 15 | Monday 17 | Tuesday 18: Cardboard Circle Weaving – A fun way for children to learn weaving, using cardboard circles as the loom and discovering how to weave colourful wool in and out of spokes.
Wednesday 19 | Thursday 20: Cardboard Loom Coasters – Create a stripy ‘mug rug’ coaster using square cardboard looms and learn – an easy method for weaving patterns.
Friday 21 | Saturday 22: Woven Paper Plate Bowls – Use recyclable materials to make a stunning woven bowl. Perfect for storing little trinkets and treasures in.
Monday 24 | Tuesday 25: Cup Weaving Pen Pots – Add a splash of colour to your desk with a woven pen pot made from paper cups and wool.
Wednesday 26 February | Thursday 27: Woven CD Dreamcatcher – Create a gorgeous dreamcatcher from old CD’s to hang above your bed.
Friday 28 | Saturday 29: Trollen Wheel Weaving – We’re going back in time to the days of the Vikings with this Nordic inspired activity. Make a beautiful woven bracelet using a trollen wheel.
