Tudor and Stuart This small but significant collection is particularly rich in dress accessories. Medieval Coventry enjoyed a 'golden age' in the medieval period, which is reflected in our extensive collections. Anglo Saxons There are around 150 Anglo Saxon objects, most of which were excavated from a cemetery at Baginton. Romans The Roman material relates mainly to the Lunt fort, established around 60 AD. Prehistory The collection comprises around 300 objects ranging from the Palaeolithic, Mesolithic and Neolithic through to the Bronze and Iron Ages.
