School Groups Offers

The world-renowned Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition, on loan from the Natural History Museum in London, will open at the Herbert Gallery on 27th October 2023 and we have some exciting offers in place to support school groups visiting the exhibition.

Facilitated Workshop:

Take part in our ever-popular Patterns and Print workshop, which will include a 30-minute visit to Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition, led by our Learning Team. Pupils will use the unique imagery in the exhibition to inspire their print designs, which they will then be able to take back to school with them.

Cost: £120 per 90-minute session, for up to 32 pupils.

Suitable for: KS1, 2 & 3

You can extend your art experience with Arts Award Discover in Day, for an additional £80 per class. Children will take part in an additional teacher-led trail at Coventry Transport Museum on the day of your visit, plus your school will qualify for a travel bursary to support travel costs, up to the value of £200.

Please note Arts Award Discover is only available for KS1 & 2 pupils.

Self-led Visits:

You are welcome to support your class with a self-led visit to Wildlife Photographer of the year. We have arranged for discounted group costs, where you will have access to the exhibition for approximately 60 minutes.

Cost: £70* for Coventry schools, up to 32 pupils, with additional pupils charged at £2 per child. Accompanying teachers going free.

£140 for non-Coventry schools, up to 32 pupils, with additional pupils charged at £4.5 per child. Accompanying teachers going free.

*Reflective of the GO CV cardholder prices available for Coventry residents.

Suitable for: KS1, 2, 3, 4 & 5
