Archaeology

We hold objects excavated from sites in and around Coventry, dating from the Bronze Age to the post-medieval period.

Social and Industrial History

The Herbert's Social and Industrial History collection charts the history and development of Coventry and the lives and experiences of its people, past and present. It covers all aspects of life in Coventry.

Visual Arts

Our fine visual arts collection includes paintings, drawings and sculptures as well as contemporary digital works.

Archives

Coventry History Centre is the place to research local and family history, using large collections of historical material, including the City's Archives.

Our natural history collection of around 180,000 specimens covers most aspects of the natural world.
