The evenings are getting lighter, and our thoughts are turning to warm summer days and festival season.
We're hosting our very own festival warm-up, full of food, live music, drinks and dancing to welcome the beginning of a new season.
FOOD AND DRINK
We'll be serving up street food delights, courtesy of Spectacular Goat and 63 Islands, while our inhouse cafe Alfreds will be running the bar serving cocktails, beers and more.
Speed dancing
By popular demand speed dancing is back. Ridiculously fun for both people that love to dance and for the wall huggers too.
Get your groove on with Greek dancing, learn some salsa swagger, enjoy bhangra beats and more.
Live music from Sonrisa
Sonrisa (pronounced s-on-ree-sa) take you on a musical journey from Spain to South America with their unique collection of original songs performed by five outstanding musicians comprising vocals, trumpet, flute, keyboard, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, cajon and percussion.
Their popular shows draw on many Latin styles including; Cuban Son, Tango, Bossa Nova, Samba and Rumba with a chance to either get up and have a go or sit back and soak up the spectacle in an evening full of fun vibes, toe-tapping rhythms and heartfelt songs.
Roaming Performances
The highlight of any festival is always the unique travelling performances and this time is no exception! We’re very excited to be welcoming the amazing Talking Birds and their magical micro-theatre - The OakMobile.
Plus make and take activities to create whilst you enjoy the bar, games and special guests.
