Artist’s Talk: Martin Rowson

Meet Martin Rowson, award winning cartoonist and scourge of the political establishment.  In this talk he’ll discuss his satirical take on "The Waste Land", a graphic poem in which private detective Chris Marlowe is tasked with getting to the bottom of the most impenetrable of all modernist mysteries: namely T. S. Eliot’s The Wasteland.

Cunningly contrived, this irreverent graphic parody is inspired in equal parts by the classic modernist poem and by the American noir novels of Raymond Chandler.

Join us for this rare opportunity for an informal and intimate discussion, followed by a Q&A, with the UK’s most distinctive political commentator.

Books will be available to purchase on the day for the author to sign.

Suitable for age 16+
