Awaken the Arts
Exploring the exhibition Face to Face, this session will focus on Royalty and Power, and will consider works including a 16th century painting of Henry VIII, and Bryan Organ’s famous painting of a young Lady Diana Spencer.*
Awaken the Arts is for anyone who likes to look at, learn about and talk about art! It takes place on the first Tuesday of the month at the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum led by our art education specialist Brian Scholes. The informal nature of the sessions makes them ideal for people experiencing difficulty with concentration or memory and their friend, partner or carer to enjoy together.
To book your place please contact Nicky McIntosh on 024 7623 74271 or email email@example.com
Don't worry if you can't make this month, we also have sessions in May and June.
* Face to Face, which is featured in the workshops for March, April and May, includes works of art from the National Portrait Gallery, The Courtauld Gallery and the Arts Council Collection as well as portraits from the Herbert’s own collection.
