The Herbert is one of TripAdvisor's Top 10 Things to Do in Coventry

The Herbert is placed at #4 of Things to Do in Coventry according to the latest ratings and reviews from TripAdvisor.

Reviewers praised both permanent and temporary exhibitions as well as the cafe, shop and the Coventry Archives and Research Centre.

"Free entry to a place well worth visiting. We visited with friends and took our daughter to the Lego exhibition on the second floor. Ground floor gives you the gift shop, café and the Lady Godiva room beyond that. Coventry has more to offer within the ring road than you think."

"The museum is spread on a couple of levels and includes a large cafe, as shop and the City Library Archive. The Art collection is extensive but I particularly liked the old masters exhibition. There is an excellent exhibition to LEGO which I loved and would be fantastic for the kids. Of course Coventry itself is heavily featured and I really liked the Lady Godiva room."

"... used to be your traditional slightly stuffy museum but these days it is a great fun place to visit. They have loads of activities for kids in the holidays and recent exhibits on TV and Lego and the Coventry music scene were brilliant. There is a strong history of Coventry section and a range of art from traditional to modern. Nice gift shop too."

"This is a seriously interesting and informative museum and I recommend it to any age."
